Enabling works UNDERWAY

Relocations are continuing as staged enabling works get underway to prepare the Concord Hospital campus for construction.

The Redevelopment project welcomes AW Edwards to Concord as the contractor to complete the enabling works. AW Edwards will install site fencing around buildings 60, 61 and 62 and establish site offices and begin works.

The refurbishment of the building 79 warehouse to accommodate new services is now complete. HealthShare Linen Services relocated to their new home and the hospital's Mail Centre will move to building 79 in June.

The Ward 64 inpatient withdrawal Drug Health Service will move into their new temporary home in the Professor Marie Bashir Centre at RPA and admit their first patients next week. Ward 65 will continue its stabilisation service at Concord Hospital while buildings 69 and 71 are refurbished. Site works will be underway around Drug Health, however access to Ward 65 will be retained.

The safety of our staff, patients and visitors is always our priority and every effort will be taken to ensure there is minimal impact to the campus. Please be mindful of pedestrians and vehicles and take care when driving and walking around the campus.
